Pipe cap, also known as head, plug, cap, pipe cap, or blind, is a pipe fitting welded to the pipe end or installed on the external thread of the pipe end to cover the pipe. Used to close pipelines, with the same effect as pipe plugs. The form of blind plates is similar, except that blind plates can be dismantled for sealing, while welded pipe caps cannot be dismantled. The design of the pipe cap includes a convex pipe cap, a conical shell, a reducing section, a flat cover, and a tightening mouth. Convex pipe caps include: hemispherical pipe caps, elliptical pipe caps, dished pipe caps, and spherical crown pipe caps. From the perspective of force, the convex pipe cap gradually becomes less effective than the hemispherical pipe cap, but from the perspective of manufacturing difficulty, it gradually becomes easier to manufacture.
